Challenge: Created in 2020, in response to the cancellation of all watchmaking events, the Geneva Watch Days association entrusted LIVE TEAMS with the design, creation, production and management of the event’s central venue. The outstanding success of this first challenging edition allowed the GWD to become an annual rendezvous. This event benefits from the support of the city and the canton and emphasizes Geneva’s position as the watchmaking capital of the world.
LIVE response: The Pavilion
The Geneva Watch Days is an independent, global and decentralized event, taking place in Geneva every year. In the end of the summer, this annual meeting brings together the finest watchmaking Maisons, by the lake, in the city center. This unique opportunity allows the general public to discover the most beautiful Swiss watch collections and the brands to meet face to face with their network. This watchmaking event has become a must, and stands out for its independent, relaxed and friendly culture.
The central pavilion, heart of the event, was created in 2020. Designed, produced and staged by LIVE TEAMS for the GWD association, throughout the week, the pavilion hosts the major activities of the association: workshops, press conferences, parties etc. Reinvented every year, this elegant and versatile space is entirely managed by our teams, in order to ensure a friendly experience for brands and an impeccable welcome for the public and guests.
The pavilion also serves as the starting point for visits to various showrooms across the city, put together by the exhibiting Maisons.
