Geneva Watch Days

Challenge: Created in 2020, in response to the cancellation of all watchmaking events, the Geneva Watch Days association entrusted LIVE Teams with the design, creation, production and management of the event’s central venue. The outstanding success of this first challenging edition allowed the GWD to become an annual rendez-vous. This event benefits from the support of the city and the canton and emphasizes Geneva’s position as the watchmaking capital of the world.

LIVE response: At the heart of the Geneva Watch Days event , LIVE designed, produced and managed the main Pavilion and the newly in 2024, the Glassbox. These installations by the lake facing the fountain are seamlessly hosting multiple functions: exhibition scenography welcoming the public, relaxed media room, a didactic Culture Club and friendly parties for the participating brands and their guests. In 2024, the Glassbox was added to host all symposiums and conferences offering more space to accommodate the growing success of the event.

The Geneva Watch Days is an annual, independent, and global event held in Geneva, offering watch enthusiasts and the public a chance to explore exquisite Swiss watch collections. It provides brands with valuable face-to-face interaction with their networks, fostering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Since its inception in 2020, the event’s central pavilion, designed and managed by LIVE Teams, hosts key activities like workshops, press conferences, and parties. Each year, LIVE conceives a new scenography and communication toolkit reinforcing the event’s strong identity& ensuring a welcoming experience for both brands and guests. For its 5th edition in 2024, LIVE created and introduced “The Glassbox”, a space for brand press conferences and broadcasted panel discussions, reflecting the event’s growing popularity.

The pavilion serves as the starting point for visits to various showrooms across the city, put together by the exhibiting Maison’s & the Glassbox became a daily rendez-vous for watchmaking industry insights and latest trends.
